Food Pantry Services
Empowering Tolland County community members with nourishment and support since 1970.
“This is where my heart is, to help others like myself. Food Bank. A non-profit place. All have great hearts here. If you need food, then come here. If you want to give back, give your time, come here. You will meet so many wonderful people.”

Our Promise
Fresh Food & Produce
When you go shopping at a grocery store, you wouldn’t want to leave with bad produce or spoiled food. So why should visiting a food pantry be any different? At HVCC, we work with a number of local stores, food distributors and more to ensure you are receiving the freshest food available.
Weekly Shopping
Like most, you probably visit the grocery store once a week to stock up. Using our pantry is no different! Leave your card at the door, this shopping trip is on us! Stock up once a week on your supplemental essentials and keep your money focused on meeting your other basic needs.
Community Driven
We couldn’t provide the services we do without the support of our community. Whether through food donations or stocking the pantry shelves. When you enter our pantry, you are participating in all your community has to offer. We are in this together!
Nutrition & Wellness Focused
You have probably heard the saying, “You are what you eat” and although we know that is not necessarily true, we do know that making healthier choices can help us a number of ways. That is why HVCC offers workshops that focus on just that! Check back soon to learn more!
